Values – Mission and Objectives

Maintenance
The Online Bible School is the common online venture of the Finnish Greater Grace churches. Its operation will start under the auspices of Salo Greater Grace Church when the level 1 material is ready.

In Finland, there are Greater Grace churches in Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Kainuu, Kuopio, Pori, Salo, Tampere, Turku and Vaasa. You can learn more about the programs and teachings of the churches at their respective websites.

Anyone who is interested in the Bible, Christian life, and theology is welcome to study at the Online Bible School.

Mission
The mission of the Online Bible School is

  2.  to guide the student to find his or her own local church and a ministry at the church.
  3.  to offer Bible school teaching at seminars on level 2 and more advanced teaching on level 3.

Objective
The general objective is that the student

  1. gets to know Jesus Christ as his or her own personal Savior.
  2. grows as a believing Christian in God’s grace and knowledge in a personal relationship with God.
  3. learns to know the Bible through a personal relationship to the Bible, learns to build his or her faith life on the Bible and to master studying the Bible and Bible doctrines.

Accreditation of the studies
Online Bible School studies can be accredited, upon the student’s request, to Bible school studies in the Greater Grace Churches of Finland. The course contents, objectives and evaluation criteria match the general level of those Bible schools. The student can apply for accreditation of the studies also at other Bible schools than Greater Grace Bible schools.
